It is a limited mystery, but one that is often taken for granted. All the work that is done in the kitchen or your favorite restaurant could be rendered useless by the simple microscopic 'buds' on your tongue. But - that is not what this site is all about.

This site is all about foodies and the kitchen and those that love cooking more than cleaning, and possibly those that love eating more than cooking. It is about the craft of cooking, types of cooking, best ingredients, successuful suppers, and a myriad of other wonderful food-related pursuits that bear deeper investigation because they mean something first and foremost to the intended recipient, and to some extent to the tastebuds themselves.
